Cheese Scone Recipe

Ive already done a video a few years back on a simple cheese scone recipe.

But i thought id share it now I'm blogging its such a super simple recipe & also makes a big batch.
We love scones for snacks, lunch boxes & picnics!

What you will need:
225G Plain flour
2.5tsp baking powder
pinch of salt & pepper
1tsp paprika
50g Butter
125G Cheddar cheese
140ml Milk


Measure out your Flour


Add your baking powder


Add your paprika, salt & pepper & mix well


Add in your Butter 


Along with the grated cheese give these a quick mix


Then lastly add the milk


Give it all a good mix i like to use a knife then tip out and use my hands until it forms a nice dough 


For scones you don't want to roll out the dough too thin about 2inch thick, i love using small cutters for our scones. I just find them more manageable for the kids.


Place them all on to a greased baking sheet and pop in a preheated oven at 190c for 15-20 mins or until lightly golden.
