Homemade Fish Cakes

First off if you don't have left over fish ready to use, cook your fish first whether its frying, grilling or steaming in the oven. Place in a bowl and leave to cool.

Now on to potatoes wash, peel and cut them ready for boiling, i used 2 large potatoes.

Let them boil until tending and mashable

Drain them once cooked

These are the other ingredients you will need to make the fish cakes

Give your potatoes a good mash and pop them in your bowl to cool down.

Once cool add your cold fish, heaped tbsp natural yogurt or even greek style.
tsp of parsley fresh would be better, and a good squeeze of fresh lemon or tbsp of lemon juice.
Followed by a grind of salt and pepper

Mix together and get your bread crumbs ready!
I used a mixed of both plain and golden.

Make your fishcakes into whatever size you like then coat in the bread crumbs.

Once all made pop into either a grill to brown off or you can put them in a frying pan, i grilled mine.

Once golden you can either eat them they way they are or let them cool and freezer them thats what i like to do.
For cooking when frozen pop them in an oven to warm up for 10-15mins
