I wanted to share with you my favourite self tanners that i have been using for a few years now, these products are a constant repurchase for me, i honestly have no need to ever try anything else!
They all give me healthy 'glowing' skin without sun damage & streaks!
I naturally have a very pale complexion so when picking these products and trying them out i had to make sure i wasn't going to look tangoed with blotchy hands and streaks all over the place!
These self tanners honestly have always given me a 'natural' looking tan without question!
Sienna X- This is my ultimate go to gradual self tanner as soon as it hits the end of spring.. Its paraben free, doesn't leave streaks or leave you feeling sticky after applying and the smell isn't to bad either! This is the sort of self tan you can apply in the morning and go about your day with your tan gradually building. Ive never had problems with it marking clothes or bed sheets or leaving me with horrid smelly skin! I use this once sometimes twice a week.
The only down side to this is the pump its not that great! i purchase this here- http://www.feelunique.com/p/Sienna-X-Gradual-Glowing-Self-Tan-200ml they actually do a few different types to if your looking for a darker tan.
Garnier Summer Body lotion- So this fake tan is more of my cheaper version of sienna x i use this occasionally as a quick 'top up' . Like the sienna x its a streak free gradual tanner, you can get this in two shades for lighter or darker skin tones. the only down side to this is that it really doesn't smell great! http://www.feelunique.com/p/Garnier-Summerbody-Moisturising-Lotion-Sun-Kissed-Look-400ml
Garnier Summer Body Spray- This tanning spray i only use again like above as a quick top up if I've faked tanned two days ago but I'm going out or wearing a skirt etc.. i use this mainly on my legs, it givens an even looking tan and sinks into the skin and dries really quickly. Like above it doesn't have the best smell though but very good on price and the bottle lasts for ages! Im actually not sure if this has been discontinued as I've noticed its hard to find! shows how long I've had it!- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/261312916029?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0
Clarins Liquid Bronze Self Tanner- Moving on to the face if personally think its a good idea to get a 'specific' tanner designed for the face. The skin on your face is so different to your body it definitely needs a subtle natural self tan. Ive been using the Clarins liquid bronze for th least 2 years and couldn't recommend it enough! Its a really light cream with very little scent which gives you a gradual glow every time you use it. Bonus for me also is that it doesn't break me out! I use a cotton oval pad and just sweep it all over face and neck after i cleanse either day or night once or twice a week. http://www.boots.com/en/Clarins-Liquid-Bronze-Self-Tanning-for-Face-and-Decollete-125ml_17653/
Clarins Instant Smoothing Self tan- Another facial self tan i like to use and I've nearly run out actually is this instant self tanner. This like the one above gives you a gradual tan after 1-2 hours, its a smooth consistency like a primer in my opinion. i apply this before i put on a BB cream or foundation by the end of the day my skin usually looks really healthy and glowing without looking orange, The smell is also really pleasant. http://www.boots.com/en/Clarins-Instant-Smoothing-Self-Tan_1205285/
