Boden Spring/ Summer Wish list!

Although my new years goal was to spend less theres definitely no harm in browsing!
Im absolutely loving Boden's new collection for spring/ summer! Ive picked out a few pieces that are definitely on my wish list and as you can tell most are either navy or stripes typical!!

Thinking practical with shoes being a busy mum i chose these gorgeous
Navy/ivory flats which look very comfy and i also chose a staple gladiator sandal in Ivory/rose gold & tan again comfy but will also go well with practically every outfit!

Two dresses that really caught my eye this Beatrice dress in a gorgeous vibrant cyan apple print is just beautiful. I also thought this Kiera ottoman nautical dress looked like a perfect replacement for the one i already have which is very old now.. Very practical all year round sort of dress and comfy!

As for accessories i love a statement necklace and have a couple from boden. This colour block necklace in navy/ sulphur is very me and would look lovely on eve/ day time.
Me the scarfoholic if thats even a word! This stunning seed packets scarf really stood out to me just the vibe of spring/ summer and the lovely colours!

As for tops i love this multi coloured Brenton basic looks comfortable and reminds me very much of ones ive got from joules before. And I've always wanted one of there wrap style jersey tops just never that keen on the prints usually but this one in Navy Daisy is really lovely and looks really flattering.

I love nothing more than a pair of white skinny jeans i had a pair a few years back but no longer fit so a good replacement would be nice although not the best colour around children! but lovely for day & dressed up for evening.
I have these shorts in yellow brought them last year.. very comfy and flattering around the legs. This
DUNE pair would be a great staple for over the spring & summer.

Saved the best till last slightly in love with this print they do have a few other items also in the same print but the dress is my favourite absolutely gorgeous!

Mini Break in Paris!

So as you may be aware we came back from Paris just recently, Me and Graham have been wanting to revisit for years but obviously since having the children and them being so young we've had to wait. It just so happens we returned after 7 years on my 27th birthday! Definitely a birthday to remember!

It was so amazing to revisit with Graham it was just as i remembered. Me and Graham had some well needed quality time together, we went for romantic dinners, ate some amazing food but we also sat in silence in the hotel occasionally which was total bliss! You'd totally understand that if you have children!! If we ever revisit again which i think we will we've already decided we'd take the children probably in about 3-4 years so they can really enjoy and understand the beautiful place of Paris!

We travelled up by Euro Tunnel for the first time which was a really lovely experience i would highly recommend it and would definitely do it again.

We stayed in a different hotel to where we stayed before called Hotel Mayfair Paris . Absolutely beautiful hotel the room we had was the deluxe double if you were wondering. came fully equipped with everything you need.. the only thing extra i would of liked was a tea/coffee making station!!
The staff we very welcoming and helpful and most spoke a bit of english so we didn't feel like there was a language problem which was great!

The Hotel Mayfair was very central and a short walk to all of the different landmarks, many shops and restaurants and the local Metro!

Of course we had to revisit the Eiffel Tower although we decided not to go up it this time as it was freezing and we had already done it!

Me & Graham trying to take a selfie with my huge camera!

We visited the Lourve Museum which was huge i really didn't realise exactly how big it was!

We got to have a look at the Mona Lisa painting everyone was gong crazy to see it!

Don't forget to watch our little video of our trip here-

New Year... New Me?!

Unlikely! But there are a few things i need to change and I'm going to share all with you!

Stress less! Although I'm not a stressy person from day to day, i am definitely someone who can endure stress and let it linger on me for days.. It will literally keep me up at night because it will be on my mind constantly! Thats one thing i need to try and tackle maybe just relax more and take a break as i can find that hard somedays!

Get more Organised! I am naturally quite an organised and tidy person but i could always do better! Keeping on top of my diary and sorting out certain parts of the house is definitely on my to do list constantly! I hate forgetting things so keeping on top of a family planner i think will also help with this hopefully.

Getting back into shape- Ok I don't need to lose weight but i could definitely tone up around my legs and tummy area. I suppose those are the stubborn spots on most people. Back in 2013 i was at my peak of being fit & healthy and since than it feels like I've slightly lost it sadly.. I have just signed up to my local gym today which I'm rather excited about its been playing on my mind for months!
Not everyone enjoys the gym but i absolutely love it! I think it motivates me to get fitter and progress to the best i can be. I also love that its 'me time' to i suppose!
Ive also got graham to pump up my tires on my bike to get me outside enjoying this beautiful weather!

Clean & healthy eating- Ive been stuffing my face through the holidays just like anyone else to be perfectly honest! Purging the chocolate stash has been hard but thank god its all gone!
As from Jan 1st I've been so good at getting back on track with eating more 'cleaner' focusing on fruit and veggies, whole grains and home-made cooking! Pinterest has definitely been very helpful with finding new lunch and dinner ideas! don't forget to follow me > the witt family

Ive got a 'series' of videos coming up hopefully in the next couple of weeks sharing with you any tips i have on keeping in shape, my eating habits and more!

Please feel free to comment below on any added 'healthy lifestyle' videos you'd like to see!
I am very excited to see what this year will bring for me and my family, we already have quite a few plans in place which I'm excited about!

Happy New Year Everyone xxx
