Christmas With Hotel Chocolat

I wanted to share some delicious new Christmasy chocolate gift ideas from Hotel Chocolat.
We are avid chocolate lovers in this house so really enjoyed trying out the yummy range they have to offer. With Christmas only a few weeks away it can be a real struggle to know what to get that someone special in your life. I think 9 times out of 10 i opt for chocolate or at least some sort of treat to give to someone since everyone loves a treat!

Its always nice to snuggle up in the evenings with a box of choccies and hot chocolate when you've finally got the kids to bed! Hotel Chocolat have this Mini Hamper Selection which comes with a ray of different chocolates to suit everyone including the popular slabs in mini size!  Its a great gift or just buy it for yourself!

Theres also some great stocking filler chocolates and even a good choice of cutes kids chocolate reindeer and santa clauses! These particular ones come in a lovely rich 80% dark chocolate so much better for children and very Moorish, i do love dark chocolate so i might keep these for me!

I love the beautiful intricate shapes of the snowflake chocolate really detailed and look extra fancy, great for Hampers or even Secret Santa!

Definitely check out the website Hotel Chocolat for more chocolate treats theres so many to choose from!

Violets 5th Birthday!

How is it my baby turned 5? Time just files by seriously, i probably say that every year but i can't help but worry about my two just growing up and moving out..

I wanted to share some photos of Violets birthday, she had a lovely day, very low key at home surrounded by all the important people in her life. I made her a 'Frozon' inspired chocolate cake which i was really pleased about, tasted great to!

As it was the Halloween half term and Violets birthday is the 30th October she asked for a Halloween themed birthday so i made some yummy treats with that in mind. We played some fun games, ate lots of yummy food and had a great day!

Her best present i think, this Wilko baby carrier!

Baby Born doll.

Halloween at Longleat | October Half Term

Hey Everyone i wanted to share some pictures from our Half term day out at Longleat.
It has taken some time as always to get these pictures uploaded my internet is awful!!
We visited Longleat for Violets 5th Birthday since it falls on half term and Halloween!
They had a Halloween themed week at Longleat so we had to visit!

Sadly it did rain which was typical however we had a fab day saw pretty much all of the animals except the giraffes. There is so much to see and do at Longleat i would highly recommend visiting at least once in your lifetime! The monkey drive thru is probably the most memorable thing for the children, it is rather fun although always remember to take off your aerial!

We went inside the Longleat house for the first time, we really enjoyed learning some History and we had lunch in the basement cafe which was lovely and nice and quiet.

Longleat have currently got the Festival of Light on at the moment which is supposed to be amazing, as well as Father Christmas and the Christmas Grotto!

How gorgeous is this real giant bunny!
